Nenad Šijaković graduated at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Department for Power Systems, in 2004. Got his Magister of science degree at the same faculty at 2011. For eleven years (2005-2016) was working for the Serbian Transmission System and Market Operator – AD Elektromreza Srbije. Active member of international association bodies from 2005 (SETSO TF and ENTSO/E). Specialized for short term power system planning (from 2005 till 2010), including Inter TSO compensation mechanism and Capacity allocation mechanisms, as well as for long term power system planning (from 2010 till 2016) as Head of Department for strategy and system development planning, covering: system development planning, energy infrastructure – transmission system investments planning, project management and network/market studies on regional and/or pan-European level, through full personal involvement in the development of ENTSO-E TYNDP, ENTSO-E Regional Investment Plans and PCI lists. From 2016 working for the Energy Community Secretariat as Electricity Infrastructure expert, covering implementation of the Regulation 347/2013 into Energy Community region, PECI/PMI selection process, implementation of the electricity Network Codes… Involvement in ENTSO-E WGs gave him hands-on experience and an increased understanding of the complexities of the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects all around the Europe, especially cross-border projects that are of the highest importance for whole Europe, as well as for the Energy Community region. Project leader in number of national and international projects and studies (SGNM Leader - SG Network Modeling of ENTSO-E CSE RG under System Development Committee, Working Group 1 leader in international consortia for UMPSI2015 Study, Team leader in FP7 project SEETSOC, Project manager in number of national transmission infrastructure system development studies) He is the author of various Visual Basic, VBA and PHP/MySql based applications, used for Congestion Management, Transmission Capacity Allocation, ITC mechanism and infrastructure planning. He published a number of papers on Serbian and international symposiums. He speaks English, and has average knowledge of Russian language.
