Doc. dr Željko Đurišić Željko R. Đurišić was born in Babino (Berane), Montenegro, in 1972. He obtained the DI, MSc. and PhD degree in electrical engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, in 1999, 2006 and 2013, respectively. He has fifteen years experience as a researcher in projects in field of renewable energy and ten years experience as a teacher the School of Electrical Engineering in renewable energy sources field. He has worked on many projects in topics of wind and solar resource assessment, wind and solar power plants feasibility analysis and grid connection of distribution power generation. He also has experience as a researcher in the field of power quality and power system protection. Presently, he is a assistant professor with the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering. He has also been engaged by World Bank Group-IFC as a consultant for projects in the field of wind energy and solar energy. He is author or coauthor of more than 180 scientific papers (15 is published in leading international journals) and author/coauthor of 4 books. He was a winner of the poster competition at Europe’s premier wind energy event – European Wind Energy Conference (EWEC 2009), Marseille, France, March 2009 and the paper competition winner at National conference of large electric power system (CIGRE 2011). Chamber of Economy of Belgrade awarded him the best PhD Thesis at the University of Belgrade for the 2013 year.
