Doc. dr Zoran N. Stojanović was born in Požarevac, Serbia, in 1979. He received B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia in 2003, 2009 and 2012, respectively. From 2003 to 2004 he worked at the company "Energoprojekt-Hidroinženjering" (Belgrade, Serbia), where he was a design engineer. Since 2005, he has been working at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (Power System Department), University of Belgrade and holds the position of Assistant Professor. He coordinates and teaches at the following courses: High Voltage Substations, Relay Protection, and Algorithms for Digital Relaying. His areas of scientific research are high voltage substations and equipment, monitoring and diagnostic of high voltage equipment, and digital relaying. He is a coauthor of four books regarding relay protection, monitoring and diagnostic of high voltage equipment and software tools in power engineering, as well as of 7 papers published in leading international journals. Chamber of Economy of Belgrade awarded him the best M.Sc. Thesis at the University of Belgrade for the 2009 year.
