 New Energy Means New Era

Also this year’s 13th International ENERGY Fair and 14th International Fair of Environmental and Natural Resource Protection ECOFAIR will be held at Belgrade Fair at the same time, October 4 – 6, under the mutual business and educational motto New Energy. It was shown the monumental Belgrade Fair Hall 1 was a great venue for connecting two sides of this at the same time both contradictory and unique global phenomenon, since long time the global precondition of survival  and sustainable development of human civilization.

It is confirmed also by the last year’s statistics the Energy Fair is the largest and most respected annual regional get together of companies, corporations, enterprises, institutions and professionals in almost all energy and related sectors, that mentions 150 exhibitors and represented companies, more than 6,000 visitors from 19 countries (which was the increase of 20% compared with 2015), 1,600 registered business visitors at the Energy & Ecofair B2B portal, more than 45 hours of international conference program in the Fair Conference Center and more than 1,400 participants in these programs. Thus, this year, the Energy and Ecofair as a unique economic / educational event is expected to connect also more than 200 direct and indirect exhibitors from Serbia and abroad and about 7,000 local and international business visitors.

The treatment of these two events as a unique one is the result of the program / organizational concept starting from the necessity of ultimate connecting into a sustainable unit of power stations, hydro power stations, mining, electric network and distribution, gas, oil, renewable and not renewable energy sources and the energy efficiency problems on one side and the Green Economy, nature and environment protection, natural resources management, recycling, waste management and all related technologies suppoting them, on the other one.

There are many reasons for these two events with the deserved UFI license to be announced and expected with the highest professional impatience.  However, due to the character of these tradeshows, their perhaps the most important and expected part is the professional / conference one, as a rule full of the current energy and environment dilemmas, expert analyses and projections, related not only to Serbia, but the whole region. Hence, the Energy is expected to (re) define energy priorities, the regional sector cooperation and connecting, in order to participate at the third markets, the focuses of the scientific research work, production and use, enhancement, distribution, transport, warehousing, natural resources direct use or legal activities in this respect, including the ‘small energy’, biomass, smart technology, training for the application for the European funds, etc. In the same respect, the ‘environment’ conference program is expected to actualize the matters of actual results in the environment protection, the climatic changes, waste treatment or recycling, then the implementation of European programs in these fields, the infrastructure projects in this one, environment services stock exchange and circular economy, etc. However, the comfort for the impatient ones says – October is quite close.
